Seams and Dreams specializes in clothing alterations, including prom and wedding dresses. Alteration services such as new zips, repairs and dry cleaning attract customers from all over the Midlands.
Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment, Seams and Dreams have implemented an entry, exit policy, hand sanitizer station, separation screens at their reception and visors worn by staff. Owner Shane started as a one man carpet fitting service and now has a showroom in Wilnecote. SL Flooring offers a wide range of flooring including carpets, vinyls, laminates and luxury vinyl tiles.

On Day 6 of my ☀Summer of Small Business☀ campaign, we are focusing on businesses in one village in our constituency; Russell’s Butchers of Shenstone at 25 Main Street.
More than ‘just’ a butcher, Russell’s prides itself on providing locally sourced, high quality meat for your Sunday roast after a joint or something delicious for condiments, cheeses and toppings! Russell’s also offers a variety of “meat boxes” which can be ordered on their website and offer free delivery within a 5 mile radius, so you don’t even have to leave the house to try their products!
Episode 3: Reestablishing Connection
Today marks the week of my Summer of Small Business campaign and today I would like to bring your attention to the candidate Elysium Hair and Beauty in Villeneuve.
Elysium offers all aspects of hair and beauty with over 60 years of experience between their stylists. Their proponent told me that the efforts of the owner and her partners overcame obstacles during the pandemic in large part and thanks to the @TamworthBoroughCouncil small business grant.

Located in the city center on George Street, things are a bit different, but the Tamworth-based roasters do their best to make customers feel comfortable. With indoor and outdoor seating, a take-out area for customers on the go, and home delivery through Ubereats, Sam and his team have done a fantastic job of reopening while staying safe. with Covid.

The roaster’s restaurant shut down completely in March, launching a home delivery service that saw 300 orders in its first week, before fully reopening in June. Although still a small crew, the team works brilliantly under extraordinary circumstances and participates in the “Eat Out to Help Out” campaign.
Day 9 of my ☀Summer of Business☀ takes us to the northern edge of our constituency, Staffordshire Herbs.

It’s day 10 of my ☀Summer of Small Business☀ and it’s been 10 years since Dave Owen Cycles opened its doors!
Many of you will have passed Dave Owen Cycles in the activity center in the center of the castle grounds; This small store, which was open throughout the pandemic to help key workers stay mobile, is now open to the general public. They’ll fix your old bikes, help you choose new ones, and even have solutions for those pesky bike saddles!
Johnny confirmed that NHS staff with ID will receive services at half price and provide the bike for the duration of the repair. There are weekend courses for adults and children for those new to cycling. The sessions are spot on, so they won’t bother anyone who wants to lose the knee pads and stabilizers. Covid19 Backing Small Biz Campaign
Day 11 of my ☀️Summer of Small Businesses☀️ campaign means a trip to Tamworth Tap, a local microbrewery that serves up some of the best socially distant pints in town! From the sale of draft beer, cider, bottled beer, wines, spirits and pub snacks, all customers are protected through creative means such as a pedestrian crossing sign at their side entrance .

Day 12 On business, we head out of town into the riding countryside for Manor Farm Fruits near directions.
At Manor Farm you can pick your own fruit including strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, gooseberries, currants and blackberries, but be sure to book ahead and read their guidelines first! Or if you prefer, you can visit their Strawberry Drive Thru and purchase pre-selected fruit, cakes, jams, honey, eggs and more from their kiosks – follow a one-way system between 10:00am and 5:00pm daily.
